What You’ll Do:

Qualifications:

What We Offer

  • $21.24-$26.02/hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidates

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain and update reports and registries for the Patient Care Health Home team, conduct audits for procedures/labs, and identify process improvement ideas

  • Handle patient registration and insurance verification, assist with Release of Information forms, manage mail and faxes

  • Provide Obstetrics support as needed, including running reports, maintaining the OB log, and providing consent forms and records to the hospital.

  • Process referrals, respond to inquiries, coordinate appointments, assist with insurance authorization, and complete other assigned tasks

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED); An Associates Degree or Certificate from an accredited technical school is preferred

  • One year’s experience working in an office setting, preferably a medical or dental office, is required.

  • Ability to prioritize work and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, with frequent interruptions

  • Ability to professionally interact with the public, providers, and staff

  • Basic in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Word and Excel

What You’ll Do:

  • Answers the phone, transfers calls and takes messages as needed for the clinic.

  • Greets patients and maintains patient and visitor log. Notifies appropriate person of the patient’s arrival. Provides translation services as needed to patients.

  • Ensures accurate and complete data and forms are collected for all patients. Creates and maintains patient charts, registering new patients and updating patient data in the computer.

  • Schedules patient appointments according to scheduling guidelines, appointment type, and time needed. Notifies appropriate Provider of all patient no-shows and cancellations. Adjusts and updates the schedule for cancellations, new patients and recall appointments.

  • Verifies patient’s insurance eligibility and obtains and files insurance documentation. Assists patients with questions regarding insurance plans as needed.

  • Reviews and responds to patients’ questions in person, via phone, and patient portal systems.

  • May perform routine billing functions such as posting patient encounters, encouraging payment, taking payments and generating end-of-day reports.

  • Reviews cash box receipts and reconciles cash box daily.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).

  • One year’s experience as a Receptionist in a clinic preferred.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain and update reports and registries for the PCHH team, overseeing all registry work, including outreach, scheduling, and documentation. Review registry data to ensure compliance with workflows and procedures

  • Perform audits for invasive procedures and in-house labs, as well as other PCHH data and initiatives, providing audit documentation. Identify and communicate process improvement ideas to staff

  • Assist with the Release of Information forms, subpoenas, and court orders, forwarding them to the HIM department. Sort and distribute mail and faxes to appropriate recipients

  • Provide Obstetrics (OB) support by running reports, maintaining the OB log, and providing consent forms to the hospital. Offer chart review support to PAs and NPs, forward reviews to physicians, and maintain a log

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED). Associates Degree or Certificate from an accredited technical school is preferred.

  • One year’s experience working in an office setting, preferably a medical or dental office.

  • Two years’ experience working in a medical or dental office is preferred.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Ability to communicate at level 9 on the language proficiency scale to receive bilingual differential pay.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintains and updates reports and registries for the Patient Care Health Home (PCHH) team. Reviews registry data and ensures proper compliance with established workflows and procedures.

  • Completes audits for invasive procedures and in-house labs. Audits other PCHH data and initiatives. Tracks all audits, providing documentation of audits as requested.

  • Identifies and collects process improvement ideas and communicates them to the appropriate staff.

  • Completes patient registration, verifying and updating insurance information.

  • Works with patients and staff to ensure completion of Release of Information (ROI) forms. Sends subpoenas and court orders to the Health Information Management (HIM) department for processing.

  • Sorts and distributes mail and faxes to the appropriate department or recipient.

  • Provides Obstetrics (OB) support as needed to include running reports, maintaining the OB log, and providing consent forms and records to the hospital.

  • Provides chart review support to Physician Assistants (PA) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) as needed. This includes forwarding the chart reviews to physicians and maintaining a chart review log.

  • Manages, processes and tracks all referrals. Ensures forms needed in the referral process are completed.

  • Manages various work queues daily to ensure timely processing and completion of referrals.

  • Responds to all incoming calls, emails and faxes regarding referrals, ensuring proper action is taken and documentation is completed and linked to the referral.

  • Sets up appointments where applicable and coordinates follow up between referral source and patient.

  • Assists with patient insurance authorization, working with internal resources as needed.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).

  • Associates Degree or Certificate from an accredited technical school is preferred.

What You’ll Do:

  • Answers the phone, transfers calls and takes messages as needed for the clinic.

  • Greets patients and maintains patient and visitor log. Notifies appropriate person of the patient’s arrival. Provides translation services as needed to patients.

  • Ensures accurate and complete data and forms are collected for all patients. Creates and maintains patient charts, registering new patients and updating patient data in the computer.

  • Schedules patient appointments according to scheduling guidelines, appointment type, and time needed. Notifies appropriate Provider of all patient no-shows and cancellations. Adjusts and updates the schedule for cancellations, new patients and recall appointments.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manages the multi-line scheduling phone queue and transfers calls to appropriate personnel as needed.

  • Provides backup support to other Front Office positions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).

  • One year of office, administrative, patient care, call center or customer service experience.

  • One year’s experience working in a call center, scheduling appointments, and/or clerical work in a healthcare environment preferred.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. Must demonstrate the ability to communicate at level 9 on the language proficiency scale

  • Ability to prioritize work and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, with frequent interruptions.

Position Highlights:

What You’ll Do:

  • Answers the phone, transfers calls and takes messages as needed for the clinic.

  • Greets patients and maintains patient and visitor log. Notifies appropriate person of the patient’s arrival. Provides translation services as needed to patients.

  • Ensures accurate and complete data and forms are collected for all patients. Creates and maintains patient charts, registering new patients and updating patient data in the computer.

  • Schedules patient appointments according to scheduling guidelines, appointment type, and time needed. Notifies appropriate Provider of all patient no-shows and cancellations. Adjusts and updates the schedule for cancellations, new patients and recall appointments.

  • Verifies patient’s insurance eligibility and obtains and files insurance documentation. Assists patients with questions regarding insurance plans as needed.

  • Reviews and responds to patients’ questions in person, via phone, and patient portal systems.

  • May perform routine billing functions such as posting patient encounters, encouraging payment, taking payments and generating end-of-day reports.

  • Reviews cash box receipts and reconciles cash box daily.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).

  • One year’s experience as a Receptionist in a clinic preferred.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required at level 9

  • Ability to prioritize work and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, with frequent interruptions.

  • Ability to interact with patients, Providers and staff in a professional manner.

  • Ability to deliver outstanding customer service.

  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology desired.

  • Basic knowledge of healthcare billing insurance desired.

  • Basic proficiency with a variety of computer programs including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
