Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic ensures community health through accessible healthcare services and education initiatives.

Position Highlights:

  • Work 20 to 40 hours/week, with a flexible work schedule of 10-hour or 8-hour shifts
  • $45.96 – $56.73/hour DOE
  • Additional pay for your bilingual skills
  • Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus based on the number of hours worked – bonus is paid in your first paycheck
  • Additional pay for your bilingual skills
  • Eligible for loan repayment programs
  • Paid state license fees and additional paid time off, plus annual reimbursement for continuing education

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct patient X-ray procedures and store X-rays

  • Complete periodontal charting and prepare tools for Provider exams

  • Perform preventative periodontal care and assist with restorations

  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide

  • Provide oral hygiene education and formulate treatment plans

  • Support infection control program and provide input for clinic efficiency improvements

  • May participate in the development, implementation, and coordination of dental education programs provided inside and outside the organization

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a Dental Hygiene school
  • Active WA state Dental Hygiene license or Limited Dental Hygiene License
  • CPR certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at a level 10
  • Knowledge of standard dental practices and current hygiene concepts.
  • Skilled in dental anesthesia and restorative procedures
  • Ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues of all ages
  • Effective time management and resource utilization to efficiently complete work within set deadlines

What We Offer

  • $43.37-$56.73/hour DOE

As a Dental Hygienist, your tasks will include:

  • Updating patient records, conducting X-ray procedures, charting, and preparing exam tools
  • Providing periodontal care and preventive treatment, performing dental restorative procedures, performing expanded functions, and administering anesthesia
  • Educating patients on oral hygiene, assisting in infection control, and participating in dental education program development along with other assigned tasks

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a Dental Hygiene school
  • Active WA state Dental Hygiene license or Limited Dental Hygiene License
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at a level 10
  • Knowledge of standard dental practices and current hygiene concepts.

Position Highlights:

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct patient X-ray procedures and store X-rays

  • Complete periodontal charting and prepare tools for Provider exams

  • Perform preventative periodontal care and assist with restorations

  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide

  • Provide oral hygiene education and formulate treatment plans

  • Support infection control program and provide input for clinic efficiency improvements

  • May participate in the development, implementation, and coordination of dental education programs provided inside and outside the organization

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a Dental Hygiene school

  • Active WA State Dental Hygiene license or Limited Dental Hygiene License

  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at level 10

  • Knowledge of standard dental practices and current hygiene concepts

  • Skilled in dental anesthesia and restorative procedures

  • Ability to interact professionally with patients and colleagues of all ages

  • Effective time management and resource utilization to efficiently complete work within set deadlines

  • High level of dexterity and coordination

  • Basic proficiency with Electronic Dental Records, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
